Last weekend, we kicked off the season with a fantastic WeekendTour through the magnificent Ardennes, joined by the ever-spirited StreetGasm Family. Familiar faces who had driven with us before were back, of course, while new StreetGasm members and partners joined us for the first time to share in the adventure. And what a success it was! The second edition of the Ardennes WeekendTour had it all: beautiful routes, great company and unforgettable moments. We would love to take you back through the highlights!
Friday's start
Picture this: a glorious sunny day, a château in the south of Limburg, the StreetGasm Family and a garden filled with incredible cars. Can you see it? So can we. Our WeekendTour began at a beautiful castle, where the StreetGasm Family gathered. Once the cars were parked, it was time to check in. Every member received a goodie bag, with a special surprise courtesy of our partners Autodrop and D-Con. Checked in and equipped with a fantastic goodie bag, treats and the route book, it was time for lunch.
Corners, mountains and Belgian Peak Beer
After lunch, it was finally time to drive! Just as you would expect from the Ardennes, the first part of the route delivered exceptional roads, plenty of corners and spectacular scenery. Along the way, members stopped at Belgian Peak Beer, where a delicious sharing board and a drink awaited them. Seated on the terrace with the sun on their faces and a unique view across the Ardennes, it was the ultimate stop. Then it was time to continue towards our hotel in what is, by its own claim, the smallest city in the world: Durbuy. This was our base for two nights, giving members time to unwind before a wonderful dinner carefully curated by the StreetGasm team. Day 1 was a huge success!
A day to remember!
Still savouring the first day, our participants appeared in their WKND Drivers shirts, designed in collaboration with Gold Partner Malelions. Everyone was ready to get back behind the wheel, and the atmosphere was electric. From the starting point in Durbuy, 32 cars set off to enjoy the meticulously planned route. The second day featured two stops, including a unique lunch venue at a château, where members enjoyed a delicious two-course lunch. Halfway through, participants were treated to another wonderful stop in Achouffe Valley, with more tasty refreshments waiting for them. High on a mountain, surrounded by cars, nature and the company of the StreetGasm Family, it was the perfect moment to pause and recharge. Then it was time for the final stretch of the route.
Dinner with the chance to win a fantastic prize
After another day enjoying the beautiful Ardennes, our members returned to Durbuy. A chilled drink awaited them on the terrace opposite the hotel: the perfect opportunity to reflect on the routes, experiences, memories and convivial stops along the way. A moment to unwind before getting ready for dinner at the hotel where everyone was staying. There, our members were once again treated to a wonderful dinner, followed by a prize draw. Everyone received a ticket and had the chance to become one of four lucky winners of a Bowers & Wilkins headset, courtesy of our Gold Partner Bowers & Wilkins.
A successful start to the season
The Ardennes WeekendTour officially opened our rally season. The happy faces and enthusiastic feedback were the perfect start to a brilliant new season.
