Romania is no stranger to StreetGasm and has already felt our presence. In 2024, we organised the first edition of DreamDrive Transylvania. It sold out so quickly — with many more people eager to join — that we decided to organise a second edition of this unique rally in 2025.
A different culture
StreetGasm has now travelled through almost all of Europe, with adventures beyond its borders too, including Morocco and the UAE — take a look at Arabian Miles if that sparks your interest. Romania, however, remained something of a hidden gem, and StreetGasm was eager to discover its magnificent scenery and unique culture. We certainly did: from remarkable hotels to authentic Romanian cuisine and heartfelt hospitality.
Spectacular driving roads
The country is home to some of the world's most memorable driving roads, which is precisely what makes this rally so popular. DreamDrive Transylvania gives you the opportunity to drive two of the world's finest mountain passes: the legendary Transfăgărășan, named the world's best driving road by Top Gear, and the Transalpina, Mr. StreetGasm's personal favourite. Both offer flawless asphalt, breathtaking views and surprising encounters with wildlife. You may suddenly find bears, donkeys, cows, horses or sheep sharing the road with you.
The StreetGasm Family
This year, 32 supercars took part, creating a true spectacle on Romania's roads. The StreetGasm Family was a blend of members returning after last year's DreamDrive and new participants discovering Romania's spectacular landscape for the first time.
We look back on this adventure with unforgettable memories. Who knows — perhaps we will do it all again next year.
